Volunteers

Chalford Hill School knows how valuable volunteers are in school and we are very lucky to have lots of offers of help on a regular basis.  We have parents, grandparents and other members of the local community who come and listen to children read, help in the library or assist with school trips or woodland walks.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all volunteers to share the same commitment. We, therefore, ask all volunteers to read our ‘Volunteers and Work Experience Information leaflet’ which contains important information about what is expected of them and what policies / procedures need to be followed.

You will be expected to provide ID (driving licence would be preferable) and to sign to say you have read and understood policies/documents.

You may also be required to apply for a DBS check.
